John Connor

"I believe that Music is more then a tool, It is a language that God Created and wants to use to speak with each new generation to describe His nature and character.  Once again He leaves it in our hands to create with Him.  I’ve learned one of the best ways to bring Glory to God is to articulate this inspired language to bring Praise to Him and use it to woo others into His throne room.  So much of today’s language of “Praise and Worship” is lukewarm it is time for us Artists, Musicians and Producers who claim that the Creator of the Universe lives inside our heart to unleash this pent up unending Love, Passion, and Creativity to the world.  It starts by knowing Him – when we truly know Him, there is no other option but to give Him our best. I’m not saying that it is all about the level of Skill but the Passion behind it and the courage to be truly who we are in Christ.”

Born and raised in near Toronto, Canada, John grew up in the small town punk scene. Because of God and John Denver he now lives in Denver Colorado working with Youth With A Mission and is an accomplished Worship Artist.

John's current projects include running the School Of Worship in Denver, leading worship primarily at YWAM Denver www.ywamdenver.com and at Faith Bible Chapel www.FBCI.org. John Connor, as a singer, song writer and worship leader, has a passion and desire to see God move in the hearts of people through the instrument of music. The goal is simple; to see the Holy Spirit move in the hearts of men. From 2000 to 2003 he toured and recorded with the band "drowned".

As a band we would worship anywhere and with anybody, this challenge expanded our ideas of a worship setting. John Connor is currently the music director at YWAM Denver. John Connor leads worship and teaches internationally, and is developing a ministry called Launch Pad Productions.
